IMPORTANT UPDATE
Brothers,
I hope you all had a safe and fun Independence Day weekend! There are some updates I need to share about our plans for the 50th Anniversary Weekend.
We’d hoped when we rescheduled from April to July that would give time for the pandemic to fizzle out, but the opposite has occurred and caused understandable concerns for many who would otherwise love to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Eta Gamma.
That being said we are proceeding with the golf tournament. Unfortunately the Ritual Re-Enactment has been cancelled and dinner is being relocated to an outdoor venue, The Alley On Main, that is appropriate for a smaller gathering for those who are comfortable attending.

Our 50th Anniversary Celebration is nearly here and we’re excited to announce the plans for what will be a memorable weekend that you don’t want to miss. Coronavirus implications may have forced our plans to change however we hope those able will join us as we proceed with some of our planned events.

Golf Tournament
Check in, lunch, and driving range open at 12:00 PM with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM at Old Fort Golf Club. Cost per player is $125 with an option to buy in to the prize pool for an additional $50. Players will receive this year’s SRAC Shirt, which included in the price. Deadline to register is July 6. Pay now below.
Separating the prize pool will increase the purse for winning teams and also increase the money raised for the Chapter by eliminating the prize expense from the golf tournament budget. Don’t despair if you’re not a scratch golfer though. We’ll have at least two flights to make sure the average golfer has a chance to play for a prize.

Ritual Re-Enactment (Cancelled)
We’ll be meeting at 10:30 AM at The Sportsman’s Club for a presentation of the Sigma Chi Ritual. For most of us, it has been years since we’ve seen the ceremony that bonds us all together and an opportunity to witness our Ritual will be a highlight of the weekend. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 AM and the doors will lock accordingly. Please plan on arriving at 10:30 so there is time to park, enter, and find a seat. Following the Ritual, we’ll serve a light lunch and hold a Q&A session regarding the business & future of Eta Gamma as we seek to re-occupy our home on Greek Row.
50th Anniversary Dinner (Moved to The Alley On Main)
The impact of COVID-19 has required us to move our original planned dinner from The View at The Fountains, however the good news is we’ll still be enjoying the fantastic catering of The Alley On Main. We’ll have dinner outside on-site at The Alley On Main Saturday night. The evening will start with a cocktail hour at 6:00 PM and dinner is served at 7:00 PM. The cost for the evening is $75/person and this event is open for brothers plus a guest. Menu for the night will include:
