SRAC’s 2015 MTSU Homecoming Activities
MTSU’s 2015 Homecoming is just around the corner and once again the Stones River Alumni Chapter has plenty planned to keep you busy the entire weekend.
Start your weekend Friday October 2nd at the SRAC Tailgate site where we’ll be holding our 2nd Annual SRAC Homecoming Fish Fry from 6-9pm (RSVP BELOW). This family-friendly event is BYOB and is free thanks to SRAC Membership dues. All Sigs and their families are welcome to attend. We’ll wrap the night up gathering off-campus for drinks and more fellowship.
This year’s homecoming game day is HUGE! Start the day early at at our BYOB Bloody Mary Breakfast at 9:00am then head over to the 2015 MTSU Homecoming Parade which begins at 11:00am. This year the parade will be following a different route, opting to enter campus on Baird Lane from Main Street, so if you plan to watch the parade be prepared to walk the length of campus down to the President’s Lawn. Immediately following the parade we’ll return to our SRAC Tailgate spot to rejoin the fun, food and fellowship, leading up to the 6:00pm kickoff of MTSU vs. Vanderbilt! There’s plenty of space on our giant grill so if you feel like adding-to you’re welcome to do so, or just bring a side and enjoy the SRAC fellowship. Purchase your game tickets via the link below.
We’ve contracted with the university for a large tent, tables and chairs at our usual location on the corner of Middle Tennessee Blvd and Greenland (on the opposite corner of the MTSU tennis courts). We’ll have a good amount of food prepped, but you’re encouraged to bring a side or your game-day favorite if you like. We’ll have a large pull-behind grill/smoker and plenty of TVs to catch all the midday games on-site as well.
All Eta Gamma and Murfreesboro area Sigs are invited to join us for both days of brotherhood and fun!
