SRAC’s 2014 Homecoming Festivities
MTSU’s 2014 Homecoming is just around the corner and the Stones River Alumni Chapter has plenty planned to keep you busy the entire weekend.
Start your weekend Friday October 17th from 3-6pm with a tour of the Eta Gamma house at your leisure, then head over to our SRAC Tailgate site where we’ll be holding a family-friendly SRAC Fish Fry from 6-8pm (RSVP HERE). The event is BYOB and is free (thanks to SRAC Membership dues) and all Sigs and their families are welcome to attend. We’ll wrap the night up gathering off-campus for drinks and more fellowship.
Homecoming game day is HUGE! Start the day early at at our BYOB Bloody Mary Breakfast at 9:00am then head over to the 2014 MTSU Homecoming Parade which begins at 10:00am. We’ll start the day at our SRAC Tailgate site and as the parade approaches we’ll gather on Middle Tennessee Blvd to watch the actives parade their float to another homecoming win. Immediately following we’ll return to our SRAC Tailgate spot for lunch and fellowship, leading up to the 2:30pm kickoff of MTSU vs. UAB. There’s plenty of space on our giant grill so if you feel like adding-to you’re welcome to do so, or just bring a side and enjoy the SRAC fellowship. (Get your SRAC Tickets below)
We’ve contracted with the university for a larger tent at our usual location on the corner of Middle Tennessee Blvd and Greenland (on the opposite corner of the MTSU tennis courts) and have worked out a great deal with our SRAC ticket rep for $10 tickets (together) for the game. Purchase your specially priced SRAC TICKETS below. We’ll have a good amount of food prepped, but your encouraged to bring a side or your game-day favorite if you like. We’ll have a large pull-behind grill/smoker and plenty of TVs to catch all the midday games on-site as well.
The Stones River Alumni Chapter will have our own section at the game and will be featured on the Floyd Stadium video board. All Eta Gamma and Murfreesboro area Sigs are invited to join us for both days of brotherhood and fun!
