2018 ΣΧ SRAC Golf Tourney & Homecoming Info
MTSU’s 2018 Homecoming is just around the corner and once again the Stones River Alumni Chapter has plenty planned to keep you busy the entire weekend.
Start your weekend Friday October 19th at this year’s ΣΧ SRAC Golf Tournament at Old Fort Golf Club! As announced this summer, this year’s tourney was moved to coincide with Homecoming in order to accommodate our busy alumni schedules, and requiring one less weekend time commitment for our brotherhood. Registration will begin at 10:30 AM, a BBQ lunch will be served at 11:00 AM, and the tournament shotgun start will take place at Noon.

Friday evening (10/19) we’ll be hosting our 5th Annual SRAC Homecoming Social from 7-9pm in the outdoor area at The Alley on Main Street. The event will be family friendly and dinner will be provided. We’ll have a couple of beer taps on hand which will be first-come first-serve, however once that is gone we will have a cash bar available.
Homecoming Game Day (Sat, 10/20) we’ll start the day early at at our BYOB Bloody Mary Breakfast at 9:00am then head over to the 2018 MTSU Homecoming Parade which begins at 10:00am. Due to the construction on Middle Tennessee Blvd. this year’s parade will again follow the interim route, entering campus on Baird Lane from Main Street, so if you plan to watch the parade be prepared to walk the length of campus down to the President’s Lawn. Immediately following the parade we’ll return to our SRAC Tailgate spot to rejoin the fun, food and fellowship, leading up to the 2:00pm kickoff of MTSU vs. Charlotte! There’s plenty of space on our giant grill so if you feel like adding-to you’re welcome to do so, or just bring a side and enjoy the SRAC fellowship. Purchase your game tickets via the link below.
SRAC’s tailgate site will again be at our traditional spot on the corner of Middle Tennessee Blvd and Greenland (on the opposite corner of the MTSU tennis courts). We’ll have a good amount of food prepped, but you’re encouraged to bring a side or your game-day favorite if you like. We’ll have a large pull-behind grill/smoker and plenty of TVs to catch all the midday games on-site as well.
